Hill training in the Arrochar Alps

"Hey Finn, do you reckon we could make it down there for a swim before he realises we're not following?"
"Still looks awefully far away"

Play With Me!!

Beach Fun

Its hard to pick our favourite place... mountains, rivers, forests... anywhere we can run about daft and we're happy as pigs in the proverbial! But if we had to choose, it would have to be the beach, big long stretches of sand to run up and down chasing balls, nice coastal breeze blowing through our fur and the west coast waves to surf for a stick or two....

Ready....

Steady....

Mountain Madness With Mollydog!

Mollydog
A crackin wee walk up Ben Lomond last week, Mel and a few friends thought it would be a nice chilled day out on the hill, but of course we managed to turn it into mountain mayhem with the help of Mollydog the Springer Spaniel! Fresh mountain air, lovely autumn sunshine, spectacular views and open hillside to run about free on...

What a view!
What more could three happy doggies need....   well a loch view bathing pool of course!!

Sweet Wee Soul

Mel found a few photo's of her first rescue dog Ghillie yesterday. She's always telling us how much we would have loved her and how much fun and silliness we'd all have had. We reckon we could have got upto so much mischief with her, and would have loved going our walks together. Shame we never got to meet.... but its thanks to her that we have a happy life now! She really does look a sweet wee soul......

Home from Holidays

Well we are both just home a couple of days from our first holiday together, and what a fun-filled week it was. We arrived at an amazing doggy-friendly holiday cottage called The Bothy at Killiechronan Farm on the Isle of Mull. Plenty of space and long grass to run about in, hills up behind, loch out front, beaches galore, what more could a couple of four-legged friends want!

Here's a few photo's of the fun and mischief we got up to......

Introducing... Mr Finn!

We have a new member... I have a new little brother & best buddie and he is just the best! Its like he's always been a part of our wee pack. Even better, Finn loves the beach just as much as I do. He's not quite as fast as me but he does his best to give chase & keep up... his stamina is a little on the weak side but he's just a youngster. Big bro' Drifty will teach him all he needs to know. One thing he's much better at than me is swimming... he's not scared to go well out his depth. He charges in to beat me to the ball or stick, leaping over the waves & winning every time!
